Join A Committee

Most of the work of the Gills Creek Watershed Association is carried out by our committees. All members are invited to participate in the committee(s) of their choice. Contact coordinator@gillscreekwatershed.org for more information or simply come to a meeting. (See Calender for details.)

Technical Committee – Tom Kohlsaat, Chair

The Technical committee plans and oversees projects such as the Crowson Road restoration, monitors government initiatives that have the potential to affect the watershed, and identifies priority areas for future action. The committee generally meets at 4:00 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at Owens Field Regional Airport.

Education Committee – Gray Ladd, Madilyn Fletcher, Co-Chairs

The education committee provides outreach to the community through a lecture series, special events, participation in community events and a speakers bureau. The committee generally meets at 4:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month at Owens Field Regional Airport.

Stewardship Committee –

The stewardship committee seeks partners and supporters for our work. It meets at the call of the chair at mutually convenient locations.

Events Committee –

The events committee plans major events such as fundraisers and our annual meeting. It meets at the call of the chair at mutually convenient locations.
