Ready to help keep our waters clean? Join Gills Creek Watershed Association and the Upper Rockyford Lake neighborhood for a morning of community action!

Whether you're a neighbor or just a friend of the watershed, we’d love your help in removing litter and protecting our local ecosystem.

Event Details: 

WHEN: Saturday, June 6, 8:30 – 11:30 AM

WHERE: Addison Pointe Apartments, 802 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC*

*Park in front of the rental office or alongside building C or D.

What You Need to Know:

We’ve Got You Covered: All cleanup equipment - including gloves, bags, and grabbers - will be provided. We will focus on litter coming from Percival Road that is making its way into Upper Rockyford Lake, and eventually the lower Gills Creek watershed.
WEAR: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and sun protection.
BRING: Your reusable water bottle and a friend!

Litter in our streets ends up in our creeks. Let’s work together to improve our watershed!
