Join us on Saturday, Sept. 20, for River Sweep... although in our case, we should call it Creek Sweep!
For this event, you'll be taking part in a statewide effort to clean up South Carolina's waterways, led in partnership by Keep the Midlands Beautiful and the SC Department of Resources. We will report the results of our efforts to KMB and SCDNR so they can keep a tally of how much trash is removed from our state's waters by volunteers in a single day. We will be removing litter from the section of Gills Creek that flows between the Rosewood Crossing parking lot and Crowson Road - click HERE for exact location.
WEAR sturdy shoes and sun protection
BRING plenty of water and snacks, just in case
All other supplies will be provided - litter grabbers, gloves, bags, and safety vests
