In addition to litter pickups, GCWA has
plenty of volunteer opportunities since our organization is driven by
volunteers! We have only one full time staff member, our recently hired
Executive Director Fran Varacalli.
We invite you to attend board and committee meetings to get a feeling
for our organization's work, and see if there are areas you would be
interested in and feel you could make a contribution to.
The Board of Directors works to serve the communities in the watershed,
and identify and prioritize opportunities to improve water quality and
the quality of life for all residents.
Our Education Committee develops educational materials and outreach
programs for school kids and folks of all ages who want to know more
about our watershed.
The Technical Committee works to identify and promote projects in the watershed which will positively affect water quality.
Check our Calendar
for upcoming opportunities, more information about.the Board and Committees, and meeting agendas and minutes.
We are a member-driven organization and we welcome your ideas and

Cleanups, Membership Recruitment, Fundraising, Event Planning &
Organizing, Marketing, Graphics, Photography, Outdoor Activities, and
