It's time again to celebrate Earth Day, and enjoy great wine and food,
and a silent auction! Join the Gills Creek Watershed Association, and
the Rocky Branch and Smith Branch Watershed Alliances to support our
vision for the streams and rivers that we have pledged to restore and
preserve! Enjoy food from local restaurants, wines from around the
world, and great deals at the silent auction from local donors. Make a
toast to Earth Day from the deck along the Congaree River, and support

Zoning and Land Development Regulations Rewrites
The City of Columbia and Richland County have gathered extensive
community input since 2014 to shape future growth. Now the City and
County are each undertaking the next step – rewriting their
respective zoning ordinances and land development regulations. Help
shape future development in the city and county. Read the proposed
documents and submit your comments online at We Plan Together.
Stormwater Pond Management Conference
The 2018 Midlands Conference will provide the latest information,
resources, and tools on stormwater pond management for the pond owner or
professional managers. The conference will be held on March 13, 8:30am
at Midlands Technical College Northeast Campus. There is a $40 fee for
the program, but complimentary registration will be offered to 20 HOA
representatives in the Midlands area. Limit two registrations per HOA.
